TOP 50 Deviants of 2007!

Just a quick blurb to explain what the ODDs are about so folks understand. I am featuring your artwork because of many reasons - the most obvious one being that I like it or I find it inspiring. There are tons of things I can post here to explain why I do what I do on dA - but I think most of you already know why. I love art. And I love this site. If folks hate dA - or administrators - or features - please keep it to yourself and just politely ask that your images be removed if I have featured them in a way you don't appreciate or approve of.

As promised - I have compiled my list of the top 50 Deviants for 2007. These artists are all previous features in my ODD page. Some old - some new - ALL amazing in their own genres. Please show them some love and take a peek in their galleries! Inspiration is a more than important attribute to the dA community - it is vital - without the artists encouraging each other - dA would not exist.

For this particular feature - I will be trying to feature as many genres as possible with special attention to the lesser knowns. While I hold the popular peeps in high regard - I think that this sort of attenion is best suited for the reason I started this page in the first place. To show off folks who are talented - but lost in the crowd

I'd appreciate no complaints - Last year I had a ton of folks asking "Where's suzi9mm? where's larafairie??" you guys know as well as I do that they are deserving - but they are also very well known on the site. I love featuring them in the regular ODDs - but this journal feature of the Top 50 is a big deal to me - these are all inspirational folks - MOST (not all) with a surprisingly low amount of traffic to their galleries.

While there are a few popular folks on the list - I have decided to exclude anyone on the deviant AR roster - admins are unfortunately a biased group for me - being a former gd - I didn't want anyone crying foul.

So I will be doing seperate admin features after these ones are completed and the votes tallied.

This Top 50 list is NOT in any particular order. The Top 10 will be chosen by myself and a panel of annonymous judges. Please respect all the artists featured - I don't want to receive a slew of "OMG I'm not there? HAHAjoking". That drives me nuts. Seriously.

You've featured me before, haven't you? Wow. Really, thanks from the bottom of my heart ! I get rather annoyed about how lost some of my artwork is in the deviantART world! Considering my four years on this site... Every bit helps. Hehe.
